Shipping policy

This policy explains how and when orders from The Ten Minute Rule, operated by Black Sands Studios, are shipped.
PROCESSING TIME In-stock orders are typically processed and shipped within 2 to 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
PRE-ORDERS Pre-order copies of The Ten Minute Rule are expected to ship on or around October 30, 2026, ahead of the November 6, 2026 launch. If you order both pre-order and in-stock items together, your order may ship once all items are available, unless we arrange otherwise. Ship dates are estimates; if a significant delay occurs, we will notify you by email.
SHIPPING DESTINATIONS AND RATES We ship worldwide. Within the United States, standard shipping is $5.00 and free on orders of $45.00 or more. International shipping is charged at a flat rate by destination and order weight, shown at checkout before you pay: Canada from $12.00; the United Kingdom and Europe from $18.00; and the rest of the world from $19.99 for a single book, with a small additional charge for each extra book. All prices are in U.S. dollars. International shipping rates are subsidized and may be less than our actual carrier cost. Any customs duties, import VAT, or other taxes required by your local jurisdiction are not included and are your responsibility; they may be collected by the carrier or your local postal service before delivery.
CARRIERS AND DELIVERY TIMES Orders are shipped via standard carriers such as USPS, with international orders handed to your local postal service for final delivery. Typical delivery after shipping is 3 to 5 business days within the United States, 7 to 15 business days to Canada, 10 to 20 business days to the United Kingdom and Europe, and 10 to 25 business days elsewhere. International deliveries can take longer during customs processing or peak seasons. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
TRACKING Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for tracking information to update after you receive it.
LOST, DELAYED, OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS If your order is significantly delayed, appears lost in transit, or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@andrew-balfour.com with your order number. We will work with you to resolve the issue, including sending a replacement or issuing a refund where appropriate.
INCORRECT ADDRESSES Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at the time of purchase. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, which may require additional shipping charges.
